Yarn cutter pendant
Safe and easy to use
Pretty little thread and yarn cutter can be worn as a pendant around your neck while crocheting or whatever yarn or thread craft you enjoy. I especially like it while making motifs or granny squares or scrumbling where frequent color changes are common. I didn’t care for the rather large embossing on one side staring country of origin and the brand name on the other side. It should have been left as an ornamental as well as functional piece but I’m not sorry I got it. It is quite useful. Keeps my from fumbling for scissors. I like the way the sharp blades are recessed so it doesn’t slice or cut accidentally. This cuts yarn and thread with ease, and I love that it doesn’t have an exposed blade!2022 update. Ok they grew. 9-10 grew. However they die quickly and are not hardy. I’m no beginner either. Will try again.I travel for work a lot. I can’t bring scissors on the plane and there is none in the hotels. I buy a few to put in each project so I don’t go around trying to find one. It’s made in Japan so the blade doesn’t full. You cannot cut yourself. I had to one time use it to cut cable ties. It worked great! I love it. I bought 4!I love this pendant, it's great to have when you're traveling or just so you don't have to worry about having a scissor around. I put it on a long chain so that I could wear it and use it whenever, but you could put it on a keychain if you don't like jewelry.Would also make a good and practical gift for someone that uses yarn or cord.I am so glad I bought this. I no longer have to reach for my scissors. Works great.I love it and it does exactly what it says it does. The only reason that I marked off a star is because I think there should be an attachment on the top to hook it to something. I have a bag that I use for my projects, but it only has zippers, so this can't hang on the bag anywhere like I wanted it to. It probably won't get used as much for this reason. I don't want to have to dig it out every time.I like this product. Easy to carry with you when traveling. I wish they would make multiple blades with it. It seems such a waste to throw away such a work of art when the blade gets dull and buy a new one. Make blade so we can have the option to buy the blades. And sell the tool to open the the Clover 3105 Yarn Cutter.I bought one for myself and then bought one as a gift. In my opinion, anyone that knits will appreciate this. I put this on a ribbon and hang it around my neck when I'm knitting and I no longer have to "go hunting" for my scissors. I can also take them on the plane when I travel. No problem with TSA.A clever little gadget for knitters, sewists and general thread crafters. I saw this recommended in an article so thought I'd buy one for myself and as a xmas stocking filler for a friend. They appeared to be widely available but wanted to ensure I got the genuine Clover product and as a Prime member ordered from Amazon which was selling on behalf of the Quilted Bear Co. When my initial order did not arrive within the dates stated I contacted the company via Amazon website and they very quickly responded and re-sent which I'm glad to say arrived on the morning of the day I was seeing my friend to give her gifts. We are both very pleased with the cutter and I'm very happy with the customer service from the company. An excellent product for cutting yarn. I actually think it cuts better and cleaner than scissors. But if you have long hair, like me, be very careful to keep your hair away from it if wearing it as a necklace, as the blades are super sharp and although large objects can't be cut by it, I've accidentally cut my hair on it before.I treated myself to this little cutter and it is brilliant! It cuts wool clean and quickly. It is solid and very sharp! At the moment I keep it in the pocket of my knitting bag as I'm mostly knitting just now. Such a handy, safe gadget. I need to make a special lanyard for it so that I can wear it when I'm sewing - more cuts for sewing than in knitting. The size is such that it will easily fit in my little travel pouch for my row counter and other bits that I take if I'm knitting or sewing while travelling. I will be buying one for my sister to put with some other little craft gadgets for her birthday.Great for travelling and does the job well. I wasn't sure it would get used much but I was going on holiday and wanted something in my handbag . Its my new favourite tool when crocheting and I use it in the house too. Should have got one sooner.Bought with the hope that one day I’ll be able to fly again. Safe for hand luggage on plane. Cuts well. Looks nice. I’ve attached a lovely hand made beady strap to it.
